Adlandpro Friday News|weekly roundup

The weekly roundup of news sharing stories from Adlandpro and around the net.

Starting the weekly roundup starts with a question via Andy Barnes where he posted on the wall

How does the rest of the ‘net see you? I feel it is important to keep my different ‘roles’ separate online. For instance, I am very active in Buddhist groups at FB with a number of friends from this. They don’t want my home business posts in their feeds. It can be tricky keeping things separate in some places but I feel it is important. How does anyone else feel?

How would you answer Andy?

A member of Adlandpro was asking about getting paid for the Adlandpro Affiliate program and what a great question. I thought it would be useful to put the information here so that if you are considering becoming an affiliate, you will know how I payments are done.

“For everyone who is an affiliate, all payments over $35 are due after 15th of each month. If you have in your account more than $35 and you have contributed at least to one sale, you will receive commissions to your PayPal account between 15th and 20th of this month”.

There are many members who are getting paid month after month and year after year, of course the more active you are in promoting Adlandpro the more you will make 🙂

Weekly Roundup News from the Web

I know that for many of you, Google Plus seems like an alien planet where it is so different that you have no idea what to do with it. To be honest, I have felt the same way many times and have wondered why bother going there.
The fact is, Google Plus is important for many reasons
-Google treats your Google+ content like another website page
-You can traffic to your website
– You will be creating brand awareness
– you can meet and chat with industry leaders
– you can extent your knowledge base
– other reasons?
As with any social network Google+ has its best practices and these are just a few points I have learned

*Add relevant  hashtags. (Google+ will even remind you if you forget this step!)
*Always post with a comment or question encouraging further engagement ( call to action)
*Respond! When people do further engage with your post make sure you engage back.
*Avoid sharing the same piece of content with the same context in a community and with your circles. What you post in communities will show up on your Google+ company profile page already.

As of today Google Plus has upped the ante and a game changer happened overnight. In this post by Mike Allton who is the social manager of They Social Media Hat and just a great guy to know talks about Google+ Game Changing Update: Full Image Teasers. On the post he will talk about
– All of the new link preview features
– What’s different from the old link preview
– What’s different from image shares
– What the SEO ramifications are
– How to get started with your own shares
I encourage you to read this post and learn about the changes. Google Plus is not going to go away, you can’t ignore it and in truth, it really is a great site to just share your different topics one you get used to the locals lol.  Any Questions?

Well it’s time for me to end this Adlandpro Friday weekly roundup, it sure has been a busy time with peoples birthdays, Spring forward time changes, blogs to read and it’s almost time to get ready to get out and garden ( in Winnipeg we still have a lot of snow). I hope you have enjoy our news, feel free to share it with your friends, pin a couple of image and I look forward to hearing from you on the Adlandpro wall and on all the other social networks.  Have a great week!

Everyone has a Story in Life

A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted…
“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”
Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity,
suddenly he again exclaimed…
“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”
The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man…
“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?”
The old man smiled and said…
“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.

Every single person on the planet has a story. Don’t judge people before you truly know them. The truth might surprise you.

  • Your Roundup is great as always, but I especially like the story of the 24 year getting his sight. Seeing things that we see all the time, but never really pay much attention. Oh the beauty of just seeing the clouds going by. Like I need to wake up and smell the roses.
    Thanks for the roundup.

  • Great Friday weekly roundup of Adlandpro happenings. I was pleased to be part of the Affiliate Promotion of AdllandPro. It is easy to promote something that you believe in and use on a daily basis. I promote a lot of programs that have great value to everyone who does their own due diligence after they sign up. I really liked the discussion about Google +. I see great potential in the marketing tools available to all of us there. I am trying to get the hang of Google Hangouts. I can honestly say that I am not very good at it but I am not going to give up and I welcome anyone to get in touch with me if they want to hangout. Learn by doing!
