This Friday focus roundup we will talk about the Adlandpro Wall, different topics the different members are talking about and other interesting news.
One of our new members Ron Watson has been talking about internet security on his new forum Get Help Now which is showing to be a very popular forum with good information
I have done modifications on the Adlandpro Wall where I have just have added the option to view posts by people you follow. At the top. When you view profile of the person, through the pop-up on this wall, you will see option to see post started by this person only.
It has been heartening to see how popular the wall has become, but if I might suggest that the best way to get value from this “chat board” as some of you have been calling it is to add value to the images you put up and always be respectful and mindful that this wall is very public.
How many of you have heard of Salad in a Jar? I have to agree with Luella, that its a brilliant idea! Not only does “Salad in a Jar” save space in your fridge, it also reduces food waste and gets non-salad eaters to chow down daily. You can make any arrangement you want. For example, you can add red onion, cucumbers, radishes, peppers or shredded cheese. Always remember to put the dressing (and cheese if used) at the bottom and the lettuce at the top – a MUST. As long as the dressing does not touch the greens this will stay fresh in the fridge for up to a week!
I have asked this question many times. I have received a lot of different answers. What is the first thing you do when you have something you want to tell as many people as possible about.Tell, as in advertise.PS. There is no wrong answers. The first thing you do is always the first thing you do until you change ~Roger
I asked Jeng ( Jen Cua) a question and thought that you would like to know her answer
Can you define 3 top qualities which in your opinion decide about person’s success?
Answer Actually I have more than 3 qualities to be successful. First one is being positive and having the right mindset all the time, massive passion, hard work (there is no such thing an easy money), be focus, persistent, be credible, know your numbers, continuous education, have some inspiration and associate yourself to those people who have been there. I want to share with you one of my post about the mindset of successful people and I was also so privileged to meet with those richest man and good leaders check it out here Mindset of Successful People and Why Many are Failing
How many of you like archaeology? If so you are in for a real treat! Miguel came upon a story that is simply incredible!
Archaeologists have found an “extraordinary” Mayan frieze richly decorated with images of deities and rulers and a long dedicatory inscription, the Guatemalan government said Wednesday. The frieze was discovered by Guatemalan archaeologist Francisco Estrada-Belli, a professor at Tulane University’s Anthropology Department, and his team in the northern Province of Peten, the government said in a joint statement with Estrada-Belli….”

Sometimes sharing this Friday focus means stepping away from Adlandpro for a moment and sharing what other people are doing.
I saw a post on G+ via Inge Cheng that I just had to share with you..very creative!
How do you get someone’s attention?
Do you entice her with promo-freebies?
Do you attract him with cool images?
or charming salesperson?Clever text?
Cool videos such as this one?
The key is know your audience.
Tailor your marketing.
Its time to end this Friday focus and even though the video you just saw was inspiring, I always like ending with a story. I found this story that seemed to hit home because I truly believe that attitude is a choice and I hope it gives you something to think about
Attitude is a Choice!
The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o’clock, with her hair fashionably coiffed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.
Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.
After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window. “I love it,” she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
“Mrs.. Jones, you haven’t seen the room … just wait.”
“That doesn’t have anything to do with it,” she replied. “Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged… it’s how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it .
“It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.
Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I’ll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I’ve stored away …. just for this time in my life.
Old age is like a bank account … you withdraw from what you’ve put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories.
Thank you for your part in filling my Memory bank. I am still depositing.
Remember the 5 simple rules to be happy
Free your heart from hatred
Free your mind from worries
Have a great week everyone!
