Another edition of the Friday News is now ready for your reading pleasure
As you may all recall, last weekend was Thanksgiving weekend, I hope that all my members who are Canadian, had a great thanksgiving with their friends and family.
Some of the trending topics this week have been about health, questions and answers, business, quotes and as always humor mixed with inspiration. A thought occurred to me..when you can laugh in adversity that is trulyinspirational.
Starting with some wisdom this Friday news is a great image quote from Tony Harnett. While Tony has been a member since 2010, it is only recently that he has come back to share his wisdom and thoughts.
Life is made up of a series of experiences. Each one will make you stronger, even though it may be hard for you to realize it at the time.
Life is your classroom in which you’re being tested, tried, and passed. Always try to stay in the midst of life and activity. Don’t isolate yourself from the action. Your character develops itself in the stream of life.
The setbacks and hardships you endure actually help you in your march forward to success. The world was built to develop your character.
Life expects you to make progress in reasonable time. That’s why those elementary school chairs are so small
**If any of you know the author, can you let us know? What are your thoughts about life, experiences including set backs?
A question was asked by Linda Hoffman regarding the credits and how it really works. It was such a great question and the help from the other members to explain everything is just one of the many benefits to being an “AdIander . I am putting both the question and a few of the answers here so that it will help other members who maybe having the same curiosity . Here is the Q&A
I have a question, I am not understanding what these earned credits are that is in the upper right had part of the page. Thanks
What Linda is asking about is this (image Adlandpro-credit use)
As you can see by the discussion on the wall, people were being very helpful. BJ Williams gave an excellent explanation
When you click above on your credits this month look over the page that comes up next. Just above the “redeem” info you will see the total of all your accumulated credits through September… Your October credits will be added to that total at the end of October.
and I loved Linda’s reply
They went into like a wallet on another page.
I would liken it to saving credits in a bank or in your wallet saving them up until you are ready to use them.
There are lots of ways to earn, click on the credit tab and you will see all you can do. Of course the first credits to get is doing your profile 🙂
Even though the wall is a social gathering, the fact is many of our members are people who are marketing and who are in business of some kind. It is always enjoyable to read articles or thoughts on busines as this helps other people. Normally there will be 2 or 3 posts a week, so keep you eyes open.
I noticed that Jim had posted a good article about getting out on the net so people can discover you and your business. To start the article off
The fact is if you don’t build discoverability into the very heart of your new direct to consumer website you’re wasting everybody’s time and bucket loads of your own money.
Let me paint you a picture. Read the rest of the article here.
Have you ever heard of Jumpy the dog? Bj Williams shared a very interesting YouTube video about Jumpy and the cool tricks he does. Be prepared to enjoy and smile -> here
Patricia Bartch has shared a petition that she is hoping that all of you will sign. It is about elephants being killed for their tusks. Please read more about this important information at this link
..and one last entry for this weeks Friday News from Adlandpro.
This is about hacks, life hacks to be exact. Many people have been collecting these different and popular memes, but how many of them really work?
Diane managed to find a YouTube video debunking some these different life hacks – do they work or not? You will need to find out here
This is a wrap as they say. It is always with enjoyment that I create the Friday News, there are so many good and positive discussions happening and although people may disagree, there is always respect.
If you have enjoyed this edition, why not share with your friends and contacts on all your social landscapes. Until next week, have a great weekend.
